I’m Stacy Wallace

As an Experiential Therapist + Breathworker I help women find the right tools to resolve trauma, consciously evolve, and harness happiness.
My approach is interactive, empowerment-based, and utilizes the mind + body.
I love working with women who find themselves challenged in the relationship, career, and/or family departments of life.
While my career as a therapist began in 2012 in Auburn, Alabama, I am currently based in Boulder, CO.
I’ve worked with a variety of issues such as anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, healing from divorce, self-esteem, attachment, grief and loss, addiction, and career confusion.
Before creating my own private practice, I had the honor of working for various Community Agencies, the Department of Corrections, and Residential Treatment facilities across Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, and Colorado. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, LPC.00188988.

Experiential Training
Breathwork
Breathwork, specifically Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB), uses the breath to shift our physiology and explore altered states of consciousness resulting in profound insight and/or tension release within the body.
I’ve accumulated 600 hours of training in CCB and I continue to engage in a professional training group and ongoing supervision. Other training in breathwork includes pranayama, breathwork for nervous system regulation, basics of breath awareness, and water breathwork.
Psychodrama
Psychodrama is a powerful form of therapy that can be used to address a wide range of issues, including trauma, addiction, and mental health problems.
The first level of psychodrama certification requires 780 hours of training. I’ve accumulated over 100 hours and engage in monthly individual supervision with a certified psychodrama supervisor.
Therapeutic Spiral Model (TSM) for Trauma
The Therapeutic Spiral Model (TSM) is a form of clinically-modified psychodrama used for the safe and effective treatment of trauma.
My completed training in TSM includes the neurobiology of trauma, polyvagal theory, and body double.

The real behind the deal
My Story
Growing up I learned I could be successful at anything if I put enough work in.
By 23 I had a thriving career, I owned a home, and I was engaged to be married. At my core, I believed I was building the perfect life.
Fast-forward 10 years…
I was on my SECOND divorce, twelve-hour work days were my norm, my social life was practically non-existent, and my only ‘hobby’ was exercising.
I started to panic, “THIS IS NOT HOW MY LIFE WAS SUPPOSED TO GO!”
I felt numb. I was burned out from my need to control, my need to live a life that measured up to society’s expectations, and my need to constantly ‘do’ vs ‘be’.
Having a complete existential crisis, I began seeing a BodyTalk Therapist.
I learned how to prioritize MY relationship with self, creating resources to heal my past and attract opportunities that kept me evolving.
My days of hiding behind the facade that everything is ok are over. Life will constantly ebb and flow, the real secret is learning how to fall in love with riding the wave!
Now I want to help you find YOUR path to freedom and joy.

Hello
Fun Facts
I love house plants, essential oils, oracle cards, moon phases, live music, and being outdoors.
I have a boston terrier named Frank and I’m obsessed with all things Boston terrier.
I’m always doing some sort of mind + body practice — I love learning ways to connect with the body. So in addition to my personal breathwork practice, I’m into sound healing, qi gong, hot yoga, new + full moon ceremonies, meditation, hip hop dance and dance meditation. Exploring all these practices helps me help you find a type of mind + body experience they connect with.
